Default Koala escaped???

I have NO idea how this happened? I found him among some boxes on the side of his bin cage scratching relentlessly. I tried to pick him up but was afraid he'd jump so I had a cup near-by & he went into the cup.

I examined his bin cage for holes and there are none. He's been here for months with the lid off 99% of the time. The sides are super high on his cage. He's too small to climb the waterbottle, plus the hanger is such that it's impossible to climb. He couldn't have climbed the wheel as there is no leverage, just like there isn't any leverage on the water bottle holder.

I have NEVER even seen him trying to escape before. He didn't look too happy about being out of his cage either. I got blessed with finding him the way I did. None of it makes any sense?

Maybe there's a ghost in here or something? I'm kind of scared about how this could have happened?

Not too sure exactly what caused it,but this is definitely a very good reason to just have a lid from now on.Hopefully he's fine though and I do also hope you don't have a ghost or something really odd!

I examined every inch of his bin cage, it's all thick plastic with zero holes. The sides are 1 1/2 feet high??? He's not hurt at all. I heard no noise other than scratching real hard, frantically.

There is no way he could have escaped & ended up where he did. He would have made some noise on the way to where I found him. The box ledge he was on would mean he would have had to go through a huge obstacle course & I've been sitting 5 feet away from his cage this whole time. I'm spooked a little tbh!

I'm going to start praying now because I just examined the course he would have had to take to get to where I found him & it's impossible. I do believe in the supernatural but don't find this funny at all.

Keep watching and Koala may show you how he managed to escape.

He heard us talking about him looking like a Koala and was off to Australia to see his relatives lol. Seriously though, glad he is ok. It sounds like he has found a way out somehow. I have seen Charlie shimmy up on his back between the wheel and the cage before now.

Don't get spooked x Something must have happened. There was a TV programme on a couple of years ago about pets and they secretly filmed a girl's hamster free-roaming - he managed to climb up onto a table and hurl himself off it repeatedly! (I think he was trying to get to his cage. He even climbed up the back of a wardrobe. It would have been funny if it wasn't so awful thinking how he could be injured.

Are there any curtains near his cage? Or blinds?

Ok - I was just wondering if something might have draped into his bin and he climbed up it. Washing on radiators or something? Or maybe he has just got good at jumping!
