Rebel and Daisy
So I have 2 very special girls that need a thread! Haha, introducing Rebel and Daisy.
Daisy was the runt of her litter. She's always been very mouse-like and overall small. But, she stole my heart and I decided to keep her. At first I didn't really know, but now I'm sure I will never breed her as she is so, so, so small. Her mother is Zelda, her sister is Rebel, and her niece is Phoenix. She's very sweet!
Rebel is, well, a Rebel. She has always been. When she was 3 days old, she crawled out if he nest and made her own in the other side of the cage. Zelda, being the smart mother she is, went to Rebel and promptly sat on her. Rebel moved to another corner. Zelda followed. They did this for 2 days, until finally Rebel moved back in. She already had her name, we called her the rebel pup, which eventually turned into us calling her Rebel.
Fast forward to her being 2 weeks old, she developed a nasty biting habit! She also would rough house with her siblings and mother, which eventually led to Daisy's ear being torn, she now has a piece missing thanks to her big sis. She has since gone through a sex-change(I thought she was a boy!), 9 cages, and 8 escapes! Silly girl!
When she came of breeding age, she had her first litter of 2 pups, Rosie and Phoenix. Sadly, Rosie, the runt, passed at only a few days old. Phoenix, however, made it and lives with her mum now. Rebel also had another litter, known as the Sixlets, who all are grown at at their new homes now. She is now retired.
This is Rebel, I will post more pictures of both of them in a minute!

Re: Rebel and Daisy
A good picture if Rebel's coloring, she has a bit of white in her chest, paws, and tail. Both girls have gorgeous ruby-red eyes!

Oh, yep! I made it for a research project a few months ago, I use it as a playpen now though. The hammies love it! Except Colby, he'd rather you just hand feed him, haha.
