Thanks! I look forward to snapping more pictures when the time is right. She had a good runaround on the couch today.

Is she a petshop ham? She looks big if she's a baby!
Really gorgeous

Yes, she is a shop ham.
I had been keeping my eye on rescues and stuff for like a month but hamsters don't really pop up all that often. And even when they do, the adoption places want to speak to your landlord (and admittedly my landlord doesn't know the critters are here!) I honestly don't think she would even care but I'm not willing to risk it.
Plus when I saw this little girl, it was love at first sight despite her pet shop status.

She is just so cute, so tiny and round.
I can't believe she loves handling already
Can I ask what colour she is? I've never seen a ham her colour before

I was surprised too! I figured if I tried to touch her she would dart away but she's totally fine. She was sitting in her food bowl yesterday and I slowly picked it up just to get a closer look at her, next thing I knew she was crawling out onto my hand! Not a single ounce of fear.
To be honest, I'm not great with the colors so I'm not even sure of her color.
Does anyone want to tell me what color she is?

This site is great for identifying dwarf colours.
Campbells Dwarf Colors
I was thinking red eyed Lilac or red eyed Dove? Looking at some of the pics on there.

Thanks so much! I just couldn't resist her anymore and I think Roxy's bin was empty long enough. I had a really hard time losing her but GiGi has been a bunch of smiles already. I definitely recommend dwarfies... They're precious!

I would certainly agree with those possibilities as far as those pictures. Sometimes it's so hard to tell! I just think she's beautiful so that's all that really matters to me.

She is gorgeous! Lovely coat and omg stunning red eyes. My favorite pics are the ones with her in her bowl, soooo cute. I'd say she looks more like a dove than a REL to me.

Thanks so much! She is such a sweetheart. The "dove" label is certainly fine with me. It's kinda funny because everyone said Cheeto was a dove too.
