Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
XD We will have to see if my puppy dog eyes still work, but that can be backup plan. Plan A of attack is facts, facts, facts. That worked with getting my Robos.

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
O.o when i first saw the first pic i thought the hamster was lying in its back and i had to lean in close to realise he had a beige belly
hopefully fact attack will work, it usually does in the end my mum is currently getting the same therapy because i want to enlarge the guinea pig cage by 70cm.. she's not buying it well.

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
Fact attack is a great method, I find it works the best for me. Also comparing what they've gotten for my sisters and what I've gotten works too, to remind them that I ask so little of them while my sisters ask a lot.
I'm already thinking of where I'd put her and what I think the Robos will think of having a neighbor.

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
I've talked about it with mom, who is more willing to accept than my dad. She of course has to bring up "this is just the beginning of hoarding." Huh? Three hamsters=hoarding? If I had like 10 or 30 hamsters, than yes, it would be hoarding, but THREE!? Grrr... But she said she'll think about it. So hopefully, this "thinking" won't take so long that the hamster will be gone. I really want her... I really don't see the problem, mom won't have anything to do with it. It's my money, my room, and me caring for the hamsters; nothing that has to do with her.

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
It's a good start that they're willing to consider it!
But after being on HC for a little while I've begun to realize that hamsters are like potato chips...

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
Yes, at least she is considering it. Dad isn't being told anything yet, he is stressed with work and he will only get mad if I mention anything about adding an animal to the house.
From a history of living with cats my whole life, I found that cats are like potato chips too.

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
My dad that it was strange that I wanted a hamster and I just told him:
"I just want something little and furry to nurture and love and I'm nesting, OKAY!? You're a man - you wouldn't understand"

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
XD
My dad's problem with hamsters is he first thought they were tiny rats. He has a thing against rats, but my Robos have warmed him up to the idea of hamsters. But still, he will have a fit..
Oh wait, did mom just spill the beans?

Re: White Campbell with beige belly?
Yes, yes mom did spill the beans. Dad says, "Why not put your import in the next cat?" I reply with, "I do put in my import, it is ignored." My mom interjects with, "It's not ignored." My thoughts add, "Oh yes it is, I'm ignored all the time."
