Help regarding wet tail
It has been 3days since i bought Rain(dark grey dwarf) and this night while me and him are playing, i noticed that the tube he plays with is wet and i noticed that when he came out his tail area is wet. I don't know if it got wet on his pee or because it is already a diarrhea or wet tail.

Re: Help regarding wet tail
Pee is like a really milky tea in colour. If it is clear or brown, please get Rain to the vets asap. The sooner it is treated, the more likely a hamster will pull through.

Re: Help regarding wet tail
Dwarfs don't get wet tail. It sounds to me as if he is weeing in his tubes and getting a wet bottom. I would add a sand bath and see if you can encourage him to potty in there? Baby hamsters are often a bit confused until they get into a routine and establish a toilet area

Re: Help regarding wet tail
As the tubes are wet could it be a build up of condensation in there? They might not have enough ventilation.
