Re: Poor wee thing :(.
The distance is an issue debs, although I do know a lady who travels to Dundee to see family quite often so she could potentially help with transport if you did have a wee dwarfie that I was keen on later in the year.

Re: Poor wee thing :(.
Thanks debs. I could take one on right now as I have the space and the cage having lost wee Prinny, but because of the imminent works on our bathroom now being in the pipeline, I would rather leave it until I know the work has been completed (hopefully in the next six months or sooner)and then I can relax in the knowledge that I won`t have to keep the cage downstairs for seven days with Boris! while the work is carried out. It`s a pain I don`t need but I would rather wait it out.

Re: Poor wee thing :(.
Thanks again debs, much appreciated. The hamster would have to be a male though. I don`t want to go through another episode like I`ve just been though knowing I have a female and it could happen all over again. I don`t think I could face that again. Losing wee Prinny to a suspected womb condition was heartbreaking. I saw it as such an unfair and cruel fate to her and to me. I know these things happen spontaniously and there was nothing more I could do for her, but it felt awful and I wouldn`t wish it on anyone.
I keep looking back too when I had the chance to rehome this little white ball of joy and wasn`t able to because of my cage space issues. Little did I know Prinny would be so cruely taken from me so quickly.

Re: Poor wee thing :(.
What`s a wee dude? A male?!! If that`s the case, yes, a wee dude russian male in white if possible but colour isn`t important! Not right at this minute though!
