What color am i?

Blue Fawn Platinum, and your other one is Black Platinum. Mottled would be over the entire body, like dom spot - only platinum would cause the band around the head and the spotted silvering. very pretty o:

I thought he was a platinum but I didnt want to sound ignorant since I did not know any color could be a platinum. I really appreciate it And Thanks I love him very much

I have to disagree.
Mottling can occur in any amount, on any area of the body. Mottling can cause the collar around the neck and I have had many hamsters with clumps of white spots on their rear as their only mottling (with the collar).
Both have very deep coloring, something not seen in platinum.
He is also certainly not blue fawn. His coloring is consistent as a self would be, not agouti like blue fawns.

So Kodi is a Mottled black like a Had originally thought when I got him but Still no idea about Koda I have never seen another quite his color. I will keep looking the good thing is he is safe and sound. And he is cute as can be no matter what color or pattern he may be

We recently adopted Koda and we had been discussing his color on his thread but I thought I would devote a thread to determining what color this lovely boy is.

I will have some more pictures with a black background tonight

If I can get some outdoor shots I will but these are the best I can get as of now.

Can you get a picture of his belly? That would help determine of he is self or agouti.
I am 95% sure he is a RE Lilac or Dove.
Unless he is cream in person, but the pictures show a chocolately grey.

You'd be suprised how common dove is, black and argente are very common and it's their combined genes that make dove. Throw in opal, another common color and tada! Lilac.
I see them all the time in stores.

I'm leaning towards dove, it's very similar to my dove girl, her three sisters are all lilac.

Atleast...I think so! I have a hard time telling the difference..
