I have to disagree.
Mottling can occur in any amount, on any area of the body. Mottling can cause the collar around the neck and I have had many hamsters with clumps of white spots on their rear as their only mottling (with the collar).
Both have very deep coloring, something not seen in platinum.
He is also certainly not blue fawn. His coloring is consistent as a self would be, not agouti like blue fawns.
