I would absolutely LOVE to have a flat full of hamsters, but I have to bring them back on the train with me for holidays so unfortunately I can't have more than these two at the moment =[
I just hope you don't keep yours in your bedroom haha xD Two is bad enough... =P
They are gorgeous little things! But cute and fluffy with teeth at the moment xD I think a fair few bathtub sessions are in order before I don't have any hands.... =P
At the moment there's not a lot to see, they're quite shy and hide under their platform or tunnel under the substrate unless it's pitch black so I just see a pile of shavings moving around xD Hopefully they'll come around though! =D

Great to see that pets at home have the same standards everywhere lol
Our syrian was great from them, much tamer than I expected, the robo's were rescues who we expected mistreated so they've just been scared of us but not tasting, and the russians are lovely too, but we still sometimes need to "help" them remember that our fingers don't need taste tests lol, although to be fair none of them bite, they just sometimes test what our fingers are, and we have only had them for two weeks.
And actually... Despite having a lovely living room, they do all live in our bedroom. We had Scamp and the robos in the living room but we missed Scamp being in our bedroom and decided the robos should move through too. Then we never even bothered pretending the russians were going to do anything but share our bedroom lol
(We got the robos and russians after moving here, had Scamp beforehand when we had no choice about her living where we slept.)
We're ok with the noise and this way if anyone needs attention in the night they can get it. It just means that once the hamsters are awake we move to our bedroom for the night, when they're up we like to be nearby and we can use the living room in the daytime anyway.
Oh and it means that Scamp can make sure I never get a lie-in... She seems to have a sixth sense for when I need sleep, made sure I sat my last university exam with only about 2 hours sleep, and now has a knack for choosing the days when I want to sleep late as the days where she needs to spend the morning noisily rearranging her cage lol
We both love having them in here with us though and by having them in here they can (and do) let us know if theres a problem we've missed, so we think its worth the occasional lack of sleep
We use the living room for playtime - Lots of space for hamster playpens
Even if they do all need hamster-proofing lol
Scamp can climb out and we don't trust all the bars to keep dwarves in.
And they'll get more confident about being out when you're around. Skip and Whizz are getting really good with us being nearby, and Whizz used to hide if we got within about five feet of his cage lol, keeping him where we sleep really seems to have helped, it let him get used to us being asleep nearby while he plays and now he's fine with us being awake nearby when he's out too
Scamp and the russian boys never bothered being worried about us being nearby though, Scamp has always been confident and the russians seem to get confidence from having the others around (well and Scruff just seems incapable of being scared lol, that probably helps the others with confidence too :P)
