Default are all campbells this sweet?

hey everyone!!
Im new to campbells but mishka is just such a sweetie, are all of them this nice??
she has never bitten, she loves siting on my hand being stroked, peeking over my fingers, she even gives kisses (her new trick XD)
she loves just being out being with me, i put her on the bed and she comes streight back to me.
she has problems with surfaces with little grip, she struggles over a roll in the duvet, sometimes she slips when walking up my arm to me, but i know what she is like my hands always there for her.
I put her in the ball, she just wanted to stay out with me, but she had a little run around, nothng like freds speeds tho, he would get caught by the police XD

I will try and get my OH to help me record how sweet she is, its not easy holding a hamster in one hand and a phone in the other XD

How sweet are your babys?

Haha, yeh a lot of hamsters are very sweet (they get given bad press by the odd biters).

Mishka sounds totally adorable! I do miss having a dwarfy - but wouldn't give Sen up for the world!! I'd say Sen is more crazy than sweet - although she does have her moments (when she'll be still). She's not very interested in me other than as a way to escape/something to climb. Although she's started to enjoy pets and when in her cage (out of her cage, she's always wanting to escape) and she's sleepy, she'll let me tickle her chin and rest her head on my fingers - which is very cute.

I've had a few that loved to just sit in my hands, some groomed my fingers and one loved to sleep in my hands- this one, Trixie, bonded very closely to em when her sister passed away. She was certainly special.

I think they can a bad rep from their common cage aggression, which is often seen when they're kept in small cages. And since the average person that doesn't do much research will put their hamsters in small cages, they get territorial and they bite more.

I've only had one Campbell and he was adorable, really sweet little fella. I had him when I was a lot younger so didn't know as much then, was shocked when I did find that some can be kinda difficult to tame. Pepper was great from the day I had him.

I think that's the reason I haven't had a Dwarf since then. He was such a gentle soul and we became very attached to eash other. It's only now that I'm thinking of trying a dwarf again.

Hamlet is an adorable little ball of fluff too. However he can be mad too. He can be nippy sometimes if he is not in the mood for cuddles. Oh boy & don't those quick little nips hurt too!
He now asks to be out which he never did before. He is a loony when having his floortime he's so fast & can be a little tike to catch. Half the time I have to bribe him with a piece of food or get him to climb on a toy to put him back in.
I wouldn't have him any other way though.

My Carrot is the odd biter then because you can't get hands near her when she's in her cage. Once she's out she'll rarely bite though but she will not sit still! I do believe she's mostly blind though which causes the biting.

My boyfriends hammy pillow is a cutie, we woke him up once and he just hit my boyfriend with his paw, as though to go 'snoooze!', my other girl sandy is adorable and loving too..although she's a bit of a biter as well. Alfie is a softie too once he's used to you (but he's blind, has a ruptured cateract and a tumour, so can have his off days)

I think they're my favorite species of hamster, and if I were only allowed one or two hams, they'd be campbells.
