Re: New ebay cage purchase
They are sheer luxury for the little balls of fluff. You will need something that the little ones can climb on upto the next shelf. Ive got a log with holes on the bottom so Jan can climb up. Then ive put a play plastic tube for her to get to the top shelf.
Jan has always made her nest under the shelf on the bottom of the tank. You will get to see all around them so is excellent for seeing what they are up to.
Cleaning is a pain though. Best way is to scoop out as much as you can of the shavings then hoover the rest as the tanks heavy to lift you can't shake the shavings out. Then don't do what I did lol. I cleaned the bottom & shelfs with pet spray then I also did the rest of the glass with it. But it smeared. So the next time I used the pet spray on the bottom & shelfs then a squeegy for the sides of glass with some vinegar in water thats been much better.
You will love it xxx

Re: New ebay cage purchase
Thats good to hear! I'm hopefully getting one of these next weekend at great alne from vectishams rachel
Its supposedly Treos holiday cage but a glass tank won't be easy to move so i might make him a bin cage instead.
Who know what else it could be used for *wink wink*
