Re: Homemade Digging Tower!
Lol! Thanks for that last picture, even if it was an accident. I had to stop and figure out what I was looking at...then I laughed
Love the tower, btw! Did you cut a hole in the plastic at the bottom to make it easier for your hamster to get out or does he only go in and out through the top? I'm going to go look for that playmobile stuff. Not having kids, I'm kinda out of the loop on these thing
EDIT: Just looking on the ToysRUs website. They've got lots of playmobile but so far I don't see anything like what you've got there. Do you remember what your parts are from? ~Thanks!

That looks brilliant and your cage looks fantastic! I've gotten sick of the way Carefresh looks and it's nice to have a reminder on how lovely woodchips look!

Re: Homemade Digging Tower!
Hmm...I typed Playmobil Zoo into eBay.ca and got a whole bunch of stuff, including parts that look like castle walls, which might also work. But no clear panels. I'm thinking of trying to build an enclosure out of corrugated plastic sheets, also known as hollow plastic board. I used to work in a hardware store. I can't remember what they called it but it's cheap and would work great I think! It is also supposed to be non-toxic according to the sites I just visited and comes in a variety of colours.
Thanks for the idea!
