Megellan is ignoring the hammock at first before he checks it out. He's far too busy to be impressed by changes in his habitat on my schedule. I tried the paper towel method. I used eyelets but didn't have the tool so I used two pliers to carefully push the smaller one through, then bent back its prongs.
I'm posting to say that this was easy and Magellan seems to love it already, or at least be curious about it. Thanks for the great idea!
