is ir really safe? paper string
Hi
I bought some paper string to make som diy stuff since sissel is really expensive and hard go get. It arrived today and while it is clearly made from paper but do not say exactly what is in it, it is a lot harder than normal paper. I will not allow my hamster to nibble on it and was wondering if I can still use it. Here is also a picture were I had let the string soaked for a while and then carefully tearing it. The paper string is on the left and on the right there is a little piece of normal paper that I also tearing after soaking for the same amount of time. In the middle is the paper string that has just been put in the water and “out folded” but without being shredded.
I know that many of you will be “better safe than sorry” but if I do not let her nibble at it and it is still clearly falling apart in water - it do not create lumps or threads, can I use it? If not then please explain
