DIY burrowing box
So I'm making a burrow box with a simple cardboard box
I cut a hole that will go near the floor so my hamster can get out through it, but do I need to poke little holes for ventilation or is it fine without? I don't even know if my hamster likes digging so I don't know how much time he's gonna spend inside the box
Also is aspen bedding a good material for filling a burrow box?

Re: DIY burrowing box
Hey there!
Personally, i do not believe you need to poke small holes in it however there is no harm in doing so. Also, aspen bedding should be totally fine as it is not harmful to hamsters. I hope your hamster enjoys it's new DIY toy!
