Looks awesome. I'm about to start making my first real bin cage for my Syrian. I'm going to attach it to a smaller storage bin too to put her 12 inch wheel in. It takes up so much space!

Getting inspired...

Thanks so much! I love building cages for my hams! Good luck on your bin cage. Darwin was in a bin before his IKEA hack...he loved it! Can't wait to see your bin!

All I can say is WOW! Sorry for being late to comment on your completed project. It really is amazing and might be something that I can make in the future as converting detolfs isn't really a viable option for me because of space.

Thank you so much Kiki, for the detailed instructions and clear photographs, I'm sure plenty of people will find them useful.

I know I won't look at my lack table that I have for my tv, in quite the same way again.

Even though I'm exhausted due to having been woken by my upstairs neighbour and guests at 2:30am and haven't been able to get back to sleep due to their continued noise making, nearly 3hrs later, my brain is chugging away with wonderous thoughts of lack table conversions!

Congratulations, Kiki and thanks again for posting so clearly.

A bit late but this is a seriously fantastic idea. I keep looking at my own Lack coffee table and thinking on the possibilities. What an amazing thing to do for your hamster and he looks really happy in there!
