Wow, ace. I am in the middle of making a tub and have drilled LOADS of holes in the sides. I wasn't sure if it was enough ventilation. Do they only need a one line of holes around the top?

I have gone well over the top with holes I think! Woops

I am planning on putting more bins on the top and attaching them with the circle piece. Anyway I thought if I was putting more on the top then there was no point in putting them anywhere, other than a few round the sides, and a few in the middle. I am planning two more smaller ones on the top. Then another big one on top of that.

If you are concerned, and have access to a saw you could take pieces of plastic out and cover them with wire welded mesh with small holes, around 1cm by1cm

I was hoping to make it a bit bigger but we are a bit tight for space on the table that Stewie's cage is on!
Is Stewie a Syrian? We could only purchase a habitrail when we got Robert (black eyed white syrian) but we quickly made him a bin cage and we are attaching it to the habitrail. Obviously I now know that habitrail is no good for him and he has 2 pads, a maze, a playground, a transport unit and some dens attached to the bin cage now. But I see you have rotastak attached and was wondering how you find that? I was actually just going to keep making bin cages and attaching them with tubes until they take over the sitting room

OMG!!! I love all of them
I'm defo gonna make one for my robo now. 'leedsgurl' i have a rotastak cage too and i'll be adding a bin cage on just like yours, so it was real nice to see someone else do that.
My robo is gonna be even more spoilt with a bin cage
It just amazes me how cheap and easy they are to make, yet you can make a huge space for the hams. I just gotta convince mum to let me have a whole bedroom full of bin cages and cute hammies now
