I've just received 200 8x40mm birch dowels from amazon for my project and washable pva children's glue .... Hope it sticks

Ok, thanks for that, I've been having a look at the different types, I just want to make sure I pick some Dowles that are made from safe wood. I think it should stick.
If anyone could advise which Dowles are safe it would be much appreciated
