This thread is a great idea! I asplso have a little cardboard tea box shelter. I love the walnut string! That is so inventive!
I'd like to see what HCers do to make water bottle holders.

Pringles tube Tunnels.
These are nice and wide and even a plump syrian fits through.
Eat a tube of Pringles (hard I know!) then cut off the bottom metal disc using sharp scissors. Use a cloth and water to clean the inside of the tube of any pringles dust and flavouring. Dry well and allow your hamsters to have fun running through the tunnel
The plastic lid makes a nice low dish as well for porridge or babyfood as well as fruit and veg

Re: Hamster toys and accessories from recycled household items thread
I was at the Goodwill yesterday and happened upon this little goodie. It was intended to be a little scrubbie holder that sits on the top of the kitchen sink. BUT me, being the crazy hamster lady, never sees anything as it is intended to be used...I look at it & think, "How could I use that for my hammies?" It is PERFECT for Smudge's girly pink bin cage!!! Not bad for $1.99

If you need food or water bowls, look no further than the supermarket chilled pudding aisle! Gu puds do lovely little glass hamster bowls - 2 in a box. The only downside is that it does need the human to empty the chocolate banoffee filling inside them, but I know we're all committed to our hamsters and so would be willing to make such a sacrifice for them
chocolate banoffees : Gü Puds
I've had several in use for 2-3 years and they are so sturdy.

I feel so sorry for you having to eat those delicious gu puds my boyfriend and I love! You really do sacrifice so much for those wee hamsters of yours don't you! My hamsters love their gu dishes, very sturdy, we have had them a year and they're great. Nice change from plastic or ceramic x
