So... I had a little free time over the summer...
This actually took about a week+ of relentless work. It started off as a fun little project but then...as it got more complex I got more competitive. It became a "I'll finish this or I'll die trying" sorta thing. It looks tragically horrible now...but at least it's finished?
The roof, floors and ladders are all removable for easy cleaning.
There's no back because my original plan was to put it against the glass of a tank so I could watch what the hamster is doing. I don't think I'll be using a tank now but It probably works against flat bars as well. I'll probably change that ladder for a popsicle stick ladder.
I have no Idea what I'm really planning to use this for. I don't even have a hamster. I don't really want to leave it in the cage for my future hamster all day so maybe I'll just use it as a playtime thing.
I only wish little Dorito was still here. She probably would have liked exploring it and hoarding her food in there.
Btw if my little replica is really so bad (or if you haven't seen the movie) this house is Carl's house from the Pixar movie " UP!" (just without all the balloons.
