maybe you can check on ebay or amazon for over there, there might be a way of getting the chinchilla sand rather then dust.
i have used our 'pets at home' chinchilla powder, its finer granules then sand, and dusty when you pour it out, but once the dust is gone it was ok.
I love the things you make I have seen quite a few and I think its such a lovely idea to make things for them

I wonder where I could steal sand from... our backyard has a mini park my uncle and parents build for us so it has sand but the neighbourhood cats have been using it as their litter box. It's become so bad that we're tearing down the entire tree house and swings and we're going to cement over everything.
I don't have a credit card
I wish we had something like that but all we have is the dustiest stuff imaginable. I would hate to use it because I'm sure they would get it everywhere and of god...the clean up...Although, they may look like tiny chins
Aww thank you. (In reality I'm just cheap.) Out of everything though....they really only like the fence the most XD
