it's not fair to buy a hammie and make it push out babies for the rest of its life it would be better off if you opened the door and let it run free in that case

This breeding session went well but you can't guarantee the next will turn out so well please listen to the others there here trying to help you and to let you understand why they are saying it please take advice as something is going to go horribly wrong

Hmm, this thread make me feel a bit sad to be honest. Breeding should never be taken lightly and you should know actually what is involved before you attempt it.

I completely agree with this.

Kim, I keep seeing your posts regarding breeding and they annoy me and upset me again and again.
Mainly because you fail to take the advice of the many experienced people advising you not to breed.
You obviously haven't researched the topic thouroughly enough, which is shown by the questions you keep asking.
50 hamsters? NO NO NO
Breeding as a job? Once again NO
Breeding because it's fun? NO
I understand you may be going through a hard time and hamsters are making you feel better, and you are entitled to that..provided that you are caring for them and not extorting/harming them with breeding which you clearly are.
You don't even know how to ham sit properly as you've pointed out by thinking you can keep them in that small cage with no toys/entertainment.
I would quite like it if you was banned seem as you upset/annoy half of the people on here by your ignorance and you clearly aren't getting the message.
Sorry if this offends (sorry mods - remove if you feel the need) but maybe you need some harsh words in order to understand just how very wrong you are.

Personally, feel that a few days for an adult would be too long as there is no space for a decent wheel. For one night would be okay though. But a 70 cm x 40cm bin would be a lot better

student1304, Thank you for the reply. I always said a true friend will make you cry. well you are right. I ignored everyone here and done my work, but it was under pressure of loosing my boy friend in an accident, which made me unable to think carefully.

Well, as I have made every one sad here, I wont wait for the ban. I will leave this web site (as many of you wish) just after I take Kimmy and pups to a breeder. Thats my response to others and as I have said many times, I dont want to disturb any one.

Well, Just to make you happy, I have removed Idea of breeding from my mind Only cause now I feel I am too silly to do that. It was a mistake done by me and I wont do this again.
I have made an appointment with the best Hamster Breeder of Iran and I will have a trip to Tehran to see him. As he said he can take care of the babies and mother which I have made a horrible life for them.
I think even taking care of Hammy is not my right because my lack of response, But Hammy is used to me and When He doesn't see me for 2 days he gets sick (as he did 2 times) then I can't sell him.
Hammy will be my first and last Hamster in my hole life.

Then Every thing will go fantastic. An experienced breeder will look after Kimmy and 5 pup and I will try to make the best life I can for Hammy.

Thank you for opening my eyes. Now I can see details.

It is up to you Kim what you decide and I wish you well in whatever the future holds for you.
I appreciate the fact you have decided not to breed now and hope you stand by your word. I would suggest you wait till the pups are older before transferring them elsewhere as the stress of a long journey will be too much.
This thread is closed to prevent further upset.
