How to make your Wheel into a Wodent Wheel instantly!

All of the photos will be attached at the bottom in order!
Equipment Needed
-Your wheel that you currently use
-A pen (biro)
-Scissors
-Sellotape
-Cerial box
-Toilet roll tube

Step 1
Place your wheel on top of your cerial box and draw around it.

Step 2
Now cut out the circle.

Step 3
Quickly just check that it is the same size as the wheel by placing it on top of the entrance side of the wheel. It should be able to just sit on top of it.

Step 4
Once it is the right size (altered if needed), Get the toilet roll tube, and draw a couple of circles around the edge using the toilet roll tube as a template.(To give it the wodent wheel look! )

Step 5
Using the nib of the pen, puncture a hole in the centre of each drawn circle.

Step 6
Now using the hole in the circles get your scissors and cut out all of the mini circles.

Step 7
Using the sellotape, tape the big circle on to the front of the wheel and Voila, you have a looky-likey Wodent Wheel!

Now your hamster will be much safer when he/she runs like the wind!

Wonderful idea Charlottington. Another thing I think you should add, is make sure your hamster won't be able to get to the tape, I don't think it's really good for them.

Yeah, the only real issue is that hams tend to eat tape sooner or later. They can be fine for days, but if theres something in their cage they shouldn't chew they'll go for it sooner or later.
If we're holding stuff in a place in the ham cages we either use other ham toys, sisal string (safe if they chew it) or our non-toxic wood glue.

Looks fantastic, Plus you could use any cereal box you want! Even if your hamster is called Sugar or Puff you could use one of there boxes ;P

Only problem I can think of is sooner or later they may accidently rip it off while they are trying to get out. Could also re glue it though if that does happen.

I'm not sure we'd want to do that - but we buy our wheels based on getting exactly what we want anyway so where we've chosen a non rodent/wodent wheel there's a reason we don't want one.
