Re: Hamster cage design
Its a bit hard to see with the pictures but it looks like it has lots of things to do :3
Hmm maybe thinking about measurements would be good, although thats more necessary if you are going to build it xD

Re: Hamster cage design
Well it looks fun, also if you start thinking about how you would build it and what measurements you'd need then it should start to fall into place. And you're more likely to notice things i think.

Re: Hamster cage design
What are you using? Bin cages or an Imac fantasy with extensions?

Re: Hamster cage design
yeah i'm not sure what a suitable size would be, it's for a syrian + wood and plastic and mesh to line the roof

Re: Hamster cage design
You should make it like the Imac Fantasy where you can just add a level when you want. If you do add "a roof" though make it like a nesting area. I'm sure it will be very nice if you make it eventually.

Re: Hamster cage design
if possible you want 80cm by 50cm on one level for decent running space, but this could be split to 40 x 50 over two or more levels if really necessary

Re: Hamster cage design
Can I suggest moving the wheel down to the second area up and having the bottom one as a giant burrowing space?
I just did some maths and if you kept it in proportion it'd have to be epically huge (to the point where I'd admit it was maybe a bit much lol) for a syrian wheel to fit where it is now.
