Smile Rhubarbs proposed new forever cage

After much consideration & much looking at cages I have decided to make Rhubarb a cage.

ASAP, Kristin! Hopefully......

Its going to be made of perspex/acrylic & the 4?mm galvanised mesh with sliding doors & pull-out trays.

Awesome, that looks fantastic.
Plus the drawing is considerably better than the plan I made for Scamp's bin cage lol, it was a lovely brightly coloured thing... That had to have clear translations of what the colours meant on the side incase I forgot lol

Am sure Rhubarb will love it
Good luck with the building!

Thank K.D!

Have now updated the plans to this:

Does anyone know where you can buy hamster bars in panels??? Please?

This is the spiral slide I'm going to use:

Hi Galaxy! Looking good. I know your looking at a long ramp now rather than the proposed spiral staircase. It will be worth the effort, I`m sure.

See RH I do listen to the advice I'm given & you know I have my animals best interests at heart. It will! He will love it once its built (of course) & when he's settled in. Will be basing this design on my mouse cage too but thats going to be at least 112 cm length-wise.

I will adapt this suspension bridge into a walkway/ladder:

The improvements have made it look even better
Incase you don't know, the suspension bridge hooks can be removed, so you can take them out of the bottom end of the bridge really easily if you decide you want to. I have no idea if thats useful for you to know or not, but we found out when we bought Scamp hers and its been useful for cleaning anyway.

Can I ask what the bit on the lower half of the left hand wall is?
I might be missing something really obvious but if I am, well I'm missing it lol
