This is such an awesome idea! What is your take on something like this for multiple hamsters. For example, one hamster having 2 shelves and another hamster having 2 shelves. Do you think the smell of each hamster would bother the other??

When I built this cage I planned ahead and thought maybe I'd want to do this. I built a "cap" that covers the entry way between the 2nd and 3rd floors. I just take that ramp out as well.
BTW three years and the enclosure is still going strong!
