Re: Meshing zoozone2 lid
I'd demand that the vendor meshes it properly prior to dispatch.

Re: Meshing zoozone2 lid
Cut the mesh to the size of the lid with wire cutters.
The use lots of cable ties to tie it on.
If there are any sharp edges on the mesh then you can cover the edges with sticky tape.

Re: Meshing zoozone2 lid
If you don't want to use tape for the edges you can file them down. I bought a file from the pound shop when I did mine. Its worth the effort as its so much neater.

Re: Meshing zoozone2 lid
Ive meshed the lid but it wont open and close and keeps popping out. I meshed it from the inside.
I might take off what ive put on and lay a large piece over and use a few zip ties to roughly hold it so it can still be fully functional.

Re: Meshing zoozone2 lid
Nothing should come between the plastic lid and the white bars. If you're meshing the underside of the bars (which is what I did too) then the mesh needs to finish inside the bars. And obviously no cable ties, however tiny, on the outside frame of the bars.
At the back I snipped out some of the mesh so it could fit around the blue hinges.
The smaller the mesh spacing the less space will be left at the edges. I used 1/4" mesh from Wickes.
