If you look on Wofunny's thread of his new home made cage I'm sure I saw that he made one from Jenga blocks. Not sure if there is a tutorial but it will give you an idea.

Quick and easy -
Get a 500 ml drinks bottle like a coke or fanta one. Cut the top off so you have a cylinder shape. Fill the base with pebbles or sand to weight it. Cut a hole in the side for the spout then put the water bottle inside and push the spout through the hole

Wire coat hanger?
Bend it into shape, kinda.. doh. Difficult to explain :S
Heres a quick sketch of what i mean
You could prolly do it without the 2 side supports though.
Big circle on bottom to keep it steady, smaller circle on top to keep the bottle steady and an ellipse for the spout to go through. You may be able to do this in one piece if you plan it right. No cuts, no joins
Good thing is it should more or less last forever

Ok, here's one I knocked together since my last post.
I just quickly put it together using copper wire for demonstration purposes because thats what I have lying around. The coat hanger would be more rigid.
