hehehe, thanks all. I can't take credit for his name though! I got him from Just for Pets and they'd named him. Its because he had a nice fluffy mane and yawned a lot so it looked like he was roaring! lol. It fit him so well I didn't change it.

its not too bad actually. I do it in layers, the habitrail section comes off and the other too its just removing all the bits than then it can be emptied and cleaned. its worth it too to see a happy little face prancing round in thier palace

wow that is a fab set up you have there, very lucky hamster to have that as his home.

I tried to do a bin cage once and it was rubbish!

Thanks Purple_x We gave it a thorough soaking and once dry, sprayed it with animal disinfectant so get rid of Rory's smell and its now become Smokey's home. He seems to really love it It seemed a shame for it to sit empty but its always so hard to see another hamster in a cage that belonged to a hamster that's passed.
I've got some really large pieces of cardboard from work last week so I'm going to have a go at making some toys next weekend!
