The Lens for the Peacock Butterfly was the 55-250 IS STM @ 250mm, and yes the White Bluebells are just that, there are quite a lot in our village church yard.

That is completely new on me! White Bluebells. Re then lens I had wondered if it was a macro lens.

At the new house we have blue and white Bluebells in the garden..! As for thens I didn't have time to swap over to a dedicated Macro lens so went with what I had on the camera, it seemed to work quite well.

It certainly did! All pure bluebells are out and my cowslips are spreading slowly. Keep meaning to get out with a camera but I don’t have a lens for close ups and it’s windy heee at the moment - things blur!

The bird in question is a Starling which over here at times are very annoying as they blitz bird feeders and leave nothing for the little birds.

The photo of the starling is amazing. Catches their oil on water type feathers perfectly, so pretty, even if they are the football hooligans of the bird world!
