They could even be made into keyrings?
I'd buy a knitted keyring hamster!

Does anyone remember those hamster toys that had a pull cord out of the back and it made them vibrate? When I was a child we had them at school and had pretend hamster races with them

Pophammy suggested that we set up a site too. The only thing is they take quite some time to produce and I have some arthitis is my fingers so I can't knit for too long. I don't think I could make them quick enough. Each part is knitted separately so for the robo - Body, 4 feet, tail, 2 ears, 2 eyebrows = 10 pieces then all sewn together and embroidered with custom details which the person asks for. Probably took an hour and a half which would speed up as I know what to do now however I doubt anyone would pay the true cost of actually making them in time and effort. I also have a lot of other things going on in life and moderating as well as boring work, looking after family. dogs etc so time is scarce. I like making them specially as presents for special people so they are unique Sometimes somebody does something really nice or I feel just needs one and I decide to do one
The syrians and chinese take much longer as they are larger and have more knitting and detailing especially if they are dressed say for a wedding or baby!
I can see the robos would make nice Chrismas tree deocorations actually - better start one for Pophammy's stocking She wanted to keep that one but she has all the prototypes so will have a different one from RH's robo.
Thank you for the kind comments though - I do appreciate them. If I do have any to sell I will put them on market place!

I have the pattern from the first time it was posted on here. I'll give it a shot, it shouldn't take long to do. I'll post a photo when it's done.

Oh yes, do have a go DrKMcK. If I knew where to begin I would give it a go myself but I fear I wouldn`t be able to follow a pattern or get to grips with the jargon that knitters use!

Soufflé that's amazing! So adorable and you have such a talent! I would certainly consider buying them should they appear in the marketplace.

I didn't use the bean pattern DrK as I made one up myself. I can send it to you if you give me some time as I made it up in my head!!
I'm about to do another so will write it down as I go!

I'd quite like the pattern too if you do it. The little Robo looks so realistic .... It's the feet ..
