I agree xD. I was actually headed back in when I saw that flower, it was really just a weed, growing off the kudzu (If you don't know what that is, lucky you. Most annoying plant in the world) and the way the sun was hitting it made it look glowy. I was like 'have to take pic NOW' lol. I'm thinging of extending my dream from wildlife to nature in general.

Here's some more pics I took today. I'm not that satisfied with them, but I figured I'd put them up anyways. Enjoy!!

I was playing around with editing software, and made these. I'm not big into editing pics, like at all, but I thought these looked pretty cool

Well, you've already got a "good eye" and that is definitely all you need to begin with. Then the good camera and inspiration and there you go!!! I love these pictures! SO cute! The wine glass picture is precious!

A neat backdrop is getting poster board. And setting it up so you have the same color - lighter for a dark ham and darker for a light ham - and put a board propped up and a board under them. Easy set up and mimics a studio. Make sure you get an external flash that you can rotate up to hit the ceiling (especially if you have a light colored ceiling). It doesn't give a glare but really brightens up a scene indoors! Hope that makes sense. I am crap at giving advice even with stuff I know about.
PS:
I digress - do you use Aspen bedding? I noticed shavings in one of your pictures. If so could you recommend a brand for me? The hemp bedding carrier I found stopped selling it completely so I need to switch to Aspen for my base.

It's great to be all natural but I think editing photos is great too. We have the technology and editing isn't all that easy either. That takes skill, a good eye, and talent too in my opinion. And anything that brings even more out of a photo to me is tops. Pretty much everyone pro uses editing software these days. But you can always tell when the photo to begin with was great. I don't think you can make a really bad photo look really fantastic with just editing software.

Going great as always Like said above you have the eye for it, I do like the monochrome bunny photo it has a sadness to it as though its a child's lost teddy that's reflecting the sadness the child feels without it.

My main suggestion for now would be to try some different angles. I notice many of your photos are taken either face on, looking down or very directly (such as the horse). The easiest way to be artistic with photography is to try obscure angles like lying down flat on the floor, belly up or getting up really high to make your subject seem tiny and disproportionate Also don't be afraid to tilt the camera, sloping plains can be much more interesting than flat ones As some examples I've attached a couple of mine, they are all taken lying down on the floor (this is easier for me because I'm short).

Hope it helps, have fun exploring angles! x
