Great improvement Well done. Nice sharp focus on the eyes and good light making the pics clear with no distractions.
Next challenge is to get the hamster to do something interesting like sit up with some food or climb over a prop

Really nice! The backdrop looks a lot better and the angles and compositions are really great If you can (it may be hard with a compact camera) try and bring the eyes into focus more, I notice the ears are what the camera is picking up on. The general depth of field is very nice, a gradient blur is very pleasing to the eye

Yeah, I totally get what you mean lol. I love the way the purple flower looks, and I didn't even edit any of these. Well, I cropped the first two to bring the animals into focus (If I hadn't everyone would have been like why'd she take pics of a bunch of leaves? lol) But I didn't sharpen or lighten them or anything.
