Thanks Racingham and Charley I just get poems sort of forming in my head and I have to get them out before my "muse" dissapears.
I was writing ALOT after my dad died and I've got maybe 500+ typed out,but then my muse went away and I couldn't put anything together,but that poem just popped into my head last night,so I went with the flow and that's what I ended up with xx

I often find that sometimes I get quite arty and poetic and then like you say, when the aura goes, I can`t find the same inspiration.

Beautiful writing. I also like to write poems and find like you they appear mostly at the furthest extremes of the emotional spectrum

Yeah most of my best poems came from a really dark time in my life,writing helped me cope alot,obviously ALot of my poems are dark,so I wouldn't post them on here,but I'll dig some of the nicer poems out in the future and post them xx

I write a lot too. And just as you said, a lot of mine are dark too. I escaped to poetry during the worst times of depression and self-injury. Very therapeutic.
