Re: Animated Movies
Another Studio Ghibli fan here. My fave is Spirited Away - hence why Sen was called Sen. My next favourite is Howl's Moving Castle, but I agree all SG films are amazing. Although you've mentioned a few I'm not sure I've seen - I'm away to investigate now!
My next ham, if it is a boy, is going to be called "Dr Calcifer Lightman" - mixture of Cal from Howl's Moving Castle and Lie to Me. ^_^

Re: Animated Movies
For me you can't beat The Aristocats. Its been a favourite film since I was really little
I also love most disney films though, with other favourites being the two Lady and the Tramp ones (I used to have a cuddly toy of Lady) and the Lion King films.
The Shrek and Ice Age films are other films I really like, but I'm afraid I'd never heard of Studio Ghibli...

Re: Animated Movies
I can't watch Watership Down. I've only got to hear Bright Eyes and it starts me off. I love the battle scene in Sleeping Beauty between the evil witch and the fairies. Not on the same level I know but I miss the old cartoons - Silly Symphonies, Happy Harmonies and Loony Tunes.

Re: Animated Movies
I love animated movies! I'm 31 going on 8 I think
You can't go wrong with Classic Disney - The Fox and the Hound, Robin Hood, Jungle Book... Pixar changed so much for me though, from when Toy Story first came out to Monsters Inc., Wall-E, Cars (mostly cos it's got Luigi the 500 in it though!!) Their shorts are brilliant too
I love the Shrek films too but my favourites are How to Train your Dragon which makes me cry everytime. The character of Toothless is brilliant and the animators obvioulsy own both dogs and cats, as I can see both in him! I also love Descpicable Me and desperatley want my own Minion called Keith!
Will have to check out Studio Ghibli as I haven't come across them either

Descpicable is fantastic, it never fails to make me laugh.
I also have been taking some time to watch animated shorts on youtube....there's some amazing work on there.

Re: Animated Movies
I love animation films too, both short films, long format and series form.
I love Studio Ghibli - my favourites are The Cat Returns, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Grave of the Fireflies. Of Japanese anime, I also like 5 Centimeters Per Second, Perfect Blue.
I love some old Disney classics - Aristocats has been mentioned here. Also, Fantasia, Bambi etc.
Of the series, I also really love Samurai Champloo, Cowboy Bebop.
