How does everyone make the signatures?

Some make their own, but for those of us less technically minded we have a signature shop, where the lovely Leedsgurl will make you one. Just post what photos you would like, any colours, wording etc and she will make one for you

I rely on paint lol
Sit down, crop pics e.t.c, faff until its tolerable and it works. Isn't as good as Leedsgurl's sigs but I'd feel vaguely guilty if I asked her to do one and then had to change it due to ham addidions/losses too soon afterwards.

You can also make your own signatures as Sam mentioned, but Leedsgurl's looks better, but I think its good to make your own too. if you are going to make your own then make sure that it is not too big. I quite like Kirilliondaemon's sig though

You could download Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro or any other software and google for tutorials.

I haven't used it but I've heard GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is quite good, and its free

Yeah, GIMP is good. I have it and have used it for some stuff, will use it for a new sig eventually but it'd require more work than I've had the time for in a while. (At the moment free time is time to relax not remind myself how to use fancy programs just to make my sig for the hamster forum lol)
Plus I like my paint creation, is simple, shows all the hams, names them and didn't take 6 hours of faffing with a program I haven't used in a while. Great by me
