Re: Míriel
Yippee and congrats, Cypher!!! I couldn't be any happier for you that you have gotten a new, baby Chinesey princess to love and cherish. I'm sure she brings you tons of happiness and smiles, and I know she is going to be one of the luckiest little hamgals around with you as her loving and doting mum. I love her beautiful cage setup and am sure she will have the greatest time having it as her new home. I totally love her beautiful name and its meaning; you always have the most amazing names for your precious hamily. The name is so perfectly-fitting for your treasured ham; the bond you will create together will be sure to be as priceless as rare jewels. I look forward to seeing pics of your new cutie pie whenever she is more settled in. Btw, I loved reading about the Miriel and her walnut; it made me giggle. Eros, Arwen, and Hinata send whisker kisses to Miriel.

Re: Míriel
Thank you ff, Sasha, dreamtree & Lizzy
I'm getting impatient for photos lol! but it's still early days & I don't want to scare her so still waiting on that, I didn't see much of her yesterday, she got up early just when I was cleaning Tinwë's house out & I think maybe we got a bit close when I was holding him & went to get a mealworm, can't think what else it might be but she seemed quite happy one minute then disappeared for the rest of the night, fingers crossed she'll be back on track this evening.

Re: Míriel
Won’t be long until she’s used to her surroundings and everything I’m sure. What colouring is she?

Re: Míriel
I'm sure you're right, I keep forgetting it's still only been 10 days, she'll come round soon enough.
She's a normal, I'd thought I'd like another dom spot but couldn't get one, in hindsight I think it would have been too soon anyway but maybe one day.

Re: Míriel
I expect a fluffy dumpling floating by her cage might have been a little scary for her

Re: Míriel
I'm pleased to hear that you have found another Chinese girl to welcome to your home. They seem so tiny at five weeks old don't they but before you know it they hit a growth spurt and you'll wonder if she ever really was that tiny!
Did you have to go to a breeder to find her?

Re: Míriel
lol! BP when you put it like that I'm sure it was a bit of a shock!
Thanks Fluffagrams, I think she has grown already but she still looks tiny, I think all my other Chineseys have been at least 10 weeks when I got them so even though I imagined how small they are at 5 weeks it's still a surprise!
I wish I could have got to a breeder but I just can't manage it but I got lucky & found somewhere that still sells them.
