Sorry if I'm posting too soon but I was reading back from the first post on this thread. I've come along way so far. I see that I've been in a rush for taming. Nobody is being taken out of their cage for taming tonight or anytime soon. Just wanted to say that I have a lot of time, God willing to tame them.

It doesn't matter if they hide, I will respect their personalities and how long it takes them to be social if they ever reach that point. But they've come along way too in terms of coming out in the open with my closet door light on.

Any red flags, even the smallest hint of aggression they are being separated ASAP. Or somebody earlier said if one seems unhappy.

It's excellent that you've noticed they've been more confident. You must have the patience of a saint! If you ever get the time, it'd be fun to see some more pictures to see how much they've grown

They're both really lovely hams.
All normal Chinese do look very similar if not the same, I think it's character as much as looks that identifies them but at least you can tell them apart with the missing tail!

It doesn't seem to bother her at all, she was probably born that way unless she does know she's missing her tail by observing Kylies tail? I don't think she thinks in human terms tho.

They are sleeping together today. Yay! I like to see then sleep together, they are past the 5-6 week hormone jolt. I'm still keeping a close eye on them but I'm not worried about it. I'm not stressed cause I think they will be happy together for life. Will see what happens. I wish I could put them in a bigger tank but don't want to take any chances. They have each other to play with. Hope this continues, harmony in the Chinesey cage forever and ever

It's easier to observe the hammys with this red light. Mylie is bigger than Kylie. They both have plenty to eat, so she must just be a smaller ham?

Last night they had a toothbrush Whimzee & they each chewed it together at the same time, they were at the ends. No sign of aggression between them & it's been almost a month. They are both happy

If all goes well this is a unique situation!
