re: Zeki's Thread - new man in my life
Thanks everyone
He's quite shy but did take a little treat from my fingers last night before getting a bit scared & running back to his house, he wasn't gone long though & soon popped out again but I left him to explore & just spoke to him as I don't want to go to fast & scare the little guy although I did leave him a monkey nut wrapped in a tissue that had been up my sleeve & he had no problem taking that off & hiding it somewhere
Haven't seen him this morning, just lots of busy noises from the house
Still no name but I'm sure it won't be long.
I have no idea what Whisp thinks yet but I'm wondering too

Maybe she'll like the idea of having such a handsome man-ham in the house either that or she'll worry that he'll take all the treats.
When I bought James home, May would start attention seeking if she thought he was getting more attention (and seeds) than her.

You could always try introducing the two and see what happens?
Not trying to be sarcastic, just thought a few babies would be cute

re: Zeki's Thread - new man in my life
I had the attention seeking thing with Zephyr when I first brought Mickle home Fluffagrams so who knows it may happen yet, at the moment I think they are just having a contest to see who can make the most noise in their house
Newbie was making such a racket this morning I decided I'd better lift the roof & have a peek to see what he was up to, still not sure lol! but he didn't seem bothered, it was more of a "Oh hello, where did you come from?" look than "Oh no, big scary human" look

re: Zeki's Thread - new man in my life
I'm sure Whisper will let you know what she thinks lol!
I remember Archie being in a huff when I got Twinkle but it didn't last long, I just made sure he got extra treats and cuddles and I always fed him first. But, they would compete on their wheels at who could go the fastest and the longest, it made great viewing.
Sounds like Newbie is settling in well.

What about Pipkin? I watched watership down the other day and Pipkin is the small rabbit that gets scared quite a bit. It's a sweet name.

re: Zeki's Thread - new man in my life
lol! sorry to keep you guessing, I'm never short of names it's just deciding which one suits best.
After much debate he's now known as Zeki, a bit better than newbie
