Zeki's Thread - new man in my life - Page 25

Not to be outdone by the others it's time Zeki had a little update.

We still have our ups & downs, I honestly don't know if he's related to Whisp but I do wonder as he is so similar with the way he gets totally distraught over house cleaning & I haven't had any other hams, Chinese or Russians, behave like this, Zen gets very protective over her burrows & hideout under the shelf but doesn't get upset by it but poor Zeki hates it so much nor does he seem to be getting used to it with time & still usually goes into hiding for a while after I've been cleaning.

I think he's mellowing a little as he gets a bit older though so it doesn't take too long before all is forgiven though & then he's a total delight, I still rarely see him in the evenings & he has absolutely no routine at all but usually appears sometime in the morning coming out & doing a little run in his wheel which is his way of saying "I'm up mum!" then rushing to the door as soon as I go over to him, never fails to put a big smile on my face & makes my heart feel as though it's swelled to twice it's normal size lol!
Then he gets totally spoilt just because I'm so happy to see him & he's so handsome & endearing it's very hard to refuse him

These are such great photos of Zeki, he looks so handsome and he has such lovely colouring. It's looks likes Zeki enjoys his wheel in that video. This is such a lovely update he sounds so sweet.

I can't get over what a handsome young fellow he is.

He looks like he's enjoying his wheel - I'm lucky if I get more than a few seconds out of James on his.

Oh my he's so handsome! Am I right in thinking that Zeki's colouring has changed?
I loved watching him on his wheel, so fast!

Lizzy his colouring hasn't changed no, only very slight subtle changes as he's grown & got a little older maybe.

Had a lovely time with Zeki this morning

He was having a ball in his sand bath, chucking it everywhere (including my face!) as usual lol! Had a good run in his wheel & raced around the cage begging for treats & food, he rushes up to the door & if I'm trying to tip food or treats into my hand from a little pot he has his head in the pot before I can stop him if I'm not careful, he really is cheeky sometimes

He's still skittish in the evenings & gets very upset over house cleaning but when he comes out in the mornings he always looks so happy I really wonder why I worry!
