Thanks Elliiy, the wheel seems to be falling forward so I'm going to try something different tonight. I'm sure something will work out
I put a piece of thin slate under the front base if the wheel, seems pretty sturdy now, hopefully!

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
that happens to me with my wheel, i put a small bendy bridge underneath it so that it stays in place, it also collects all the poops that milo makes while running and makes it easier to clean

That's a good idea! If this slate doesn't work or is too noisy I'll have to try that

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
I used a slate with the junior wodent wheel that Arun had and Kashi is currently using. Worked a treat.

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
Good to know about slate success! If not I'll try bendy bridge
She's only 35 gm but she runs like crazy! She's used to her Critter cage wheel hooked onto the bars, think she likes this Silent Spinner 6.5 in, it's bigger than her last wheel. If I can get it stable happy happy

She does seem happy! She's still sleeping in her very familiar green tree stump house but I'm sure she'll eventually venture out & make new nests & then I'll never find her for cage cleanings which will be way less frequent now. I'm thinking monthly cleanings, she doesn't seem afraid of her new cage. I don't think she's complaining anyways

Re: Easter Chinese Rescue
lol thats good, less frequent cage cleanings will totally be better, since she will be less stressed. I too tend to only clean once a month, but change the layout every couple of weeks or until i feel like it looks nice lol just to aesthetically please me and give milo something new to explore

Aww how sweet that she sleeps in her familiar house.
Kashi has not made a new nest yet, too busy spider hamming allmover the bars!
