We're finding that taking things slowly is working well and that's probably where I went wrong with May in the early days.
Yesterday when I got home from the show, Jessie was waiting expecting a few seeds to come dropping through the mesh on her tank. She's learnt where to wait for the seeds already.
I've been letting her play with May's beloved hammock for short periods of time at playtime and so far she's liked it...

We've had to do a bit of swapping with the cages because of my concerns about Jessie's climbing.
She's very good, however she'll climb up on to the mesh roof of the tank and I was a bit concerned about what she'd land on if she were to fall and I can't put a hammock up in the tank. She's now living in James' bin cage until she's ready for one of the bigger bins and he is living in her tank. He was quite pleased to discover that it's very good for digging in.
Jessie is now able to climb in a bit more safety as her hammock covers a large part of the top mesh and she's discovered that the front mesh is very good for begging for seeds from...

They are so good at climbing & the opportunity to do a bit of monkey barring must have been just too hard to resist!
Glad you found a way to make it safe for her, she's looking totally adorable there
