Excellent - there are plenty of people on here who can advise on making one!

I recommend checking out the tutorial on Vectis Hamstery's site (she might have reposted it here, it's worth having a look in the DIY section too). It was a huge help to me when I made mine: http://vectishams.webs.com/makingabincage.htm

If you would like some photos of some of the set ups I've used for my bin cages then I can post some for you tomorrow morning.

Sorry it's a bit later than promised. I had issues with Photobucket but here are a couple of the set ups I have used for my chineseys.

This is a 45L Wham storage box made into a retirement cage for an elderly hamster. The ventilation is provided through one single large mesh panel on the roof.

This is a 64L Really Useful Box made into a bin cage for a young female (you can see her in the food bowl). There are small mesh panels on the smaller ends and larger ones on the front and the roof.

This is the one of the larger mesh panels, just to give you an idea of what it looks like. Some people attach the mesh to the inside of the bin to stop little hamster teeth from getting to the plastic and chewing an escape point. I have attached the mesh with cable ties pulled tightly so as not to give her excess to start chewing however she's not really a chewer so this is fine. As you can see she likes to climb on the mesh to beg for seeds.
