I would, i have a chinese hammy in a hamster heaven and that has bigger bar spacing. I wouldn't put a baby chinese in an alaska though.

I would also but I wouldn't put a young Chinese hamster in the Alaska cage as the bar spacing is quite big at the sides, but I've heard of roborovskis living in the Alaska cage and being fine!

Hmm interesting.... lol
She is currently in a zz1 i would love to get her the Kios but funds are tight after getting "The Boy" the Alexander (so far i'm not too impressed with it) and our chickens are in danger of getting mudded out so we have to do something with them.
It does have so much promise, Noodle could have the Alaska and Twitch could have the zz1, all would be happy and my cage issue would be sorted!!
I'm gonna think some more on it.

If you're not too sure, you could maybe put her in the alaska empty during playtime and see if she can squeeze through the bars. You could even just unclip the base and just put her inside the barred section alone. If she can't get through, I'd use it

Would you recommend the Alexander cage? Thinking of getting one but not to sure, I've heard the wooden levels are hard to get on but I won't be using them any way as I am having a pair of dwarfs In the cage.

Do you like it?

Excellent idea CS... I will try that

Not sure about the Alexander atm, yeah the bar space is good and its a good size.
Shelving also good but cant use it all as the boy has a 12" wheel.
Stupid size front doors and i broke the clip on handles trying to put them on and the bottle bends the bars.
Tbh i am disappointed with it.
The boy seems to like it tho,
He has a new game of running half way up the ladder and jumping on to his wheel.

fwiw you can use a 12 inch wheel with the Alexander although you might have to skip using the middle shelf and use a tube or a bridge or something to get across. I don't bother with the handles, I'd rather carry the cage by the base

Yup lol Evil_lin figured that one, i thought it was because of the width of the wheel, didnt consider the height being an issue.... Felt smug when i put the wheel in and then not so smug when i went to put the top section in. *sigh lol

Theres still messing about to be done with it.
