Thanks munch . Thats it now though. No more!!!

Got a couple of pics, flash off of course. It sounds funny but she already seems so much happier. She was just rocking in the tank.

Haha JB. I have now vowed to shop online. I am not stepping foot in the big green place for a long time,or going on gumtree and the like!!

Apparently the lady said she hasn't had any interest as she doesn't really have much going for her. Lovely!! They don't sell chinesy's very well, so why stock them? Grrr. Rant over

She looks lovely and very wide eyed and happy! You did her a favour just by getting her out of that place. So many` too old to sell` animals find themselves parked in the adoption area for far too long. Chinese hamsters seem a fad to some people and then they return them for various reasons. They just don`t understand their mouse-like qualities and shy natures. I personally adore them.

Thanks.
I've found that Pippa loves her sandbath...makes quite a mess with it too! .

Racinghamster is right about people not understanding Chinese hammy's! I was one of those, BUT I would never return my beautiful little Pippa! I just had to change MY thinking. I had to learn to be patient & understand that she is much more mouse like than hamster. Since I learned that, we've been making much more progress with her taming. Although it did take many times of RH telling me to be patient!! I'm a tad bit hardheaded some times! lol

Thanls RH and Kiki. I'm really looking forward to getting to know her. And thatnks for the tips..mouse like. I can do that. Ive always been so lucky with my rescues all of them turning out really easy to tame. Me and Doris will take our time and hopefully we can share a special relationship. One things for sure she aint going nowhere

I honestly adore Petal my chinesey, she was a p@h adoptee, she is a Dom spot and is beautiful. My experience has been so positive with her, she isn't shy at all and is happy to be handled. I think you will love having her x
