Question Does your Chinese bother with a mineral lick/wheel?

Does anyone's Chinese hamster bother with a mineral or salt lick/wheel? I read a few threads here, and it seems that very few hamsters in general bother with them and apparently don't really need them (as long as they have a good diet/food). Just wondering whether or not your Chinese hamsters use them (or if you even put them in their cages). Right now I have a mineral wheel/lick in Princess Snowflake's cage, but I don't think she's even acknowledged it.

Wonton doesn't do anything with her mineral wheel either. She enjoys her carrot chew instead.

I never bother with them WendyAnne. Some hamsters will nibble them but most don`t give them a second glance. They get all the nutrients they require from their dry mix and small amounts of raw vegetables which are also a source of fibre. Cucumber, broccoli, garden peas are all good but remember these should only be fed in fingernail sized portions.

They're really just a waste of money that sits in the cage untouched for months

Thanks so much for the info, everyone! Seems that Princess Snowflake is in with the majority here. I won't waste anymore money on salt or mineral wheels/licks for her.
