Bless, he's lovely!

I think I'd like a Chinese hamster....eventually of course! They are very pretty little hammies.

Welcome to the forum Disney!

Thanks everyone, he no longer has his frog, he used it as a toilet
Both his & Kipling's cages have changed since they first came but neither seem too impressed with the puzzle playgrounds.

Are there any "toys" which dwarfs do like.

Alice (syrian) had a playground too but she used it to get closer to the bars

aww, sweet! chinese love climbing. they seem to like their cage overloaded with toys to weave between. they also love cardboard loo roll middles to rip up and weave into their nest. they like anything to climb on and also love burrowing.

Thanks for that, Disney does love to burrow & will climb on his logs but doesn't care for the puzzle playground

Will shove loo roll middles in his cage

How sweet! Disney is gorgeous and has a great cage set up there!
I found that they loved tunnelling, burrowing, climbing and their wheel! Loo roll tubes are great, they love to attack them :P
You could also try putting some of them under the wood shavings to make an underground tunnel, i used to make some holes in them before i put them under though to allow some air in. I used one of the mazes before and they would climb all over it, the more complex and interesting the better.

Oh and also one of the wooden log with the holes in them, they like them too and mine would even claw at it, great for trimming nails!

Wow, what a great little hamster!

I'll confess, the Chinese hamsters really interest me - and I had a good look at all the lovelies who attended the Topcliffe show.

Definitely one for the future
