A very relaxed Bacardi
My sister has been learning Reiki for part of her natural horsemanship course. I won't go much into it because I'm neitherr knowledgable or a strong believer in it.
Tonight shes had her favourite hamster Bacardi sat in her hands for over 10 minutes whilst doing it. Its hard to tell the exact effects as hes very calm and likes being in her hands anyway Hes still obviously alert, but very still and content.
(you can see my dog in the background, who is oblivious )
And some pictures from yesterday
Such a mucky man
Hes now about 1 year 8 months x

Re: A very relaxed Bacardi
Mmm, interesting! He looks like he is relaxed; sort of hamster meditation? And also a good chance for cute pics

I love Bacardi He is such a sweetie, I would love a ham that stayed still for 30 seconds let alone 10 minutes!

That first picture of his little face is so cute. Don't know if the Reiki is working or not, but he does look very calm.

Yeah I suppose it is, the way I see it is hes feeling how calm my sister is and in turn it makes him very relaxed and trusting. Added with the comfort and warmth of her hands, he nearly went to sleep x

Re: A very relaxed Bacardi
Bacardi is really sweet <3
I am a believer in Reiki as I have a veryyyy excited and easily distracted 3 year-old boxer. My boyfriend's mom knows Reiki and does it when the dog is very nervous or anxious and hard to control, all it takes is about 10 minutes and he becomes all mellow. you gotta see it to believe it basically in short what reiki does is create a state of equilibrium within the body, thus calming and relaxing the treatment receiver
