Went to P@H today...
and saw a gorgeous Chinese Hamster in the adoption centre and I just had to bring him home! His label said he was nervous and would bite, so I decided to handle him in the shop. He was a little shy (that's to be expected) but his ears were up and he was just sniffing me - no bites, not even a nip.
Don't worry, Snickers will never be replaced or forgotten but I know she'd want me to share my love with another hamster.
I think I'm calling him Bailey, his original name was Speckles but it didn't suit him. He's about 8 months old and was returned by his owners.

Re: Went to P@H today...
hehe thanks.
He's in the Mini Duna as I moved Oscar into the Imac Bingo. At first my Mum said no but my Dad persuaded her for me. I know she likes him really.

Re: Went to P@H today...
Thanks. I'm not sure if he is that old tbh? It's what the previous owners told the store, but then again, they also said he bites - which he doesn't. I've not had a Chinese before but he looks young?

Aawww, welcome to the HC family, little one! I'm sure Snickers would be so pleased to see you give a loving home to another hammy.

Aww, he is adorable! Can't believe anyone would bring him back, but I'm glad he's got a chance to live with you.
