I have to admit that I think those Ovos are really cute. My friend has one which is hooked up to a ton of other modular cages. She uses a pink one as a travel cage when she brings her hamster over and I really love how well made it seems. I want to get the pink edition one to hook up to the tank topper I'm going to be making DIY for my gerbils. Connect it to the topper as a 3rd level ...like a look out tower. LOL. I can't imagine it being the actual cage for my hamsters or gerbils though. It's nice as an attachment to something much bigger.
I hate the ovo. We had one for our syrian Tigatig and he spent all his time in the tubes that he was so antisocial! We swapped him to a ferplast barred cage and he's now tame.
The only good thing about them is the wheels, they're such a good size for a syrian, much better than most, and quiet too!
