I thought if you were buying a cage you should use plastic ones or ones without bars for dwarfs. Maybe its just me and my inexperiance with hamsters but regardless of the size of the gap in the bars I wouldn't want to use it just incase. (or am I being paranoid????)

Looks like a cool cage though I googled it to get a good look at it. It looks like a good sized cage for a syrian.

I have a plastic tank type for my dwarf, but I think that you can house them in wire cages aslong as the spacing between the bars is less than 1cm

Hi, I've just got this cage for my ham, it hasn't arrived yet but it's missing the bottom metal clips, can someone with this cage take a pic of the clips/describe/compare the clips to help me find new ones? Are they the sane as the jenny rat cage ones? Thanks

Talking Re: Ferplast Criceti 15

Right Guys I think its due time for another Ferplast Criceti 15 cage review!! Its brilliant. It's very very big. My photos (poor quality phone pics after my camera died of battery) really do not show how large it is, you can't tell but actually theres alot more space to the sides and below which the photos cropped out. But yes, its very very big. Plenty of depth - and a deep base tray for digging. The annoying thing is though that the lid opens at the top - so its a good job my hamster was already tamed before I got this cage as she used to be very scatty and didnt like being picked up from above, also you have to lean downwards and grab the hammie to scoop it up. Also I can see a potential get out part at the top of the cage whee the lid comes down, i reckon a small hammnie could nibble into the plastic and squeeze through. other than that its a brill cage - very spacious. Also really nice colours.
